Chen Chow Yeoh, the main contributor to the event, is an alumni of Cornell University, an Ivy League institution. So if you are interested to study overseas, why not consider studying in US? Attend the workshop to learn more about the education system in the US, and do not worry if you think you can't afford to study there. Most US universities offer financial aid, covering tuition fees, living expenses and accommodation fees, to their students.
If you answered yes to any of the below, then you would definitely benefit from the workshop:
a) aspires to enter an Ivy League university. (past participants have been admitted into Yale, Stanford, UC Berkeley, MIT etc)
b) is a scholar and is being sent to study in US. (believe me when I say you would really appreciate the help and advice you get at the workshop because the application process is NOT simple)
c) is undecided between studying in US, UK or Australia. (why not give US a chance?)
Current/ prospective/ ex- Malaysian students in the US (graduates/ students from schools such as Harvard, Yale, MIT, Princeton, UPenn) will share their firsthand personal experiences with workshop participants so you can personally see and evaluate for yourself the result of their education in the US. It would be a great chance to expand your social circle by meeting new people, learn from exciting minds and get to know about something new. Plus, it's FREE (except the two-day workshop) so head over to a workshop near your place today!
I would be helping out at the workshop in Penang (June 26) so if you are in doubt, please do not hesitate to e-mail me at eexin91[at]gmail.com for more info :)
Hope to see you there!
