Kenyon Cottage Remodelled

For the past few weeks, much work has been done to upgrade the facilities in the Kenyon Cottage building. The building is to be used as the new KH (Kemahiran Hidup) needle work room.



One can see the difference of its current condition compared to the past due to the enhancing colours bouncing off the walls of Kenyon Cottage. Once dark and gloomy, now bright and cheery. Students going there for their KH classes now can definitely indulge in the transformed interiors of Kenyon Cottage and hopefully improve their results !!!

1980 ex-MGSians Reunion

Once an MGSian, always an MGSian.

On the 10th of June, around 10 am or so, a whole group of "young women" arrived at the school. One by one they emerged from beyond the parking lot and gathered at the canteen. Shrieks of laughter and continuous chatter filled the canteen. The old girls from the year of 1980 had come back for a memorable reunion.

The "young women" took a tour around the primary school and also the secondary school where they revisited old memories and fond recalls. The tour ended back in the secondary canteen where they were all treated to light refreshments.

2nd Northern Bible Knowledge Quiz 2010

The 2nd Northern Bible Knowledge Quiz was held on 3rd of July in Trinity Hall, MGS Ipoh. A total of 18 teams were present for the quiz. The quiz started promptly at 8.30 am. After going through a few elimination rounds, only five teams qualified for the finals. The winners are as follows:

1st place - ACS Ipoh

2nd place - ACS Ipoh

3rd place - MGS Ipoh

The Bible Knowledge Quiz ended at approximately 1.00 pm. Special thanks to all the organising committee, teachers, helpers and volunteers. Congratulations to all the winners!!
