As the cloud moves away...
As the cloud moves away,
It becomes our saddest day;
As the cloud moves away,
Her departure is no delay;
As the cloud moves away,
In MGS is a rainy day;
As the cloud moves away,
We wish her all the best ploughing her new way;
As the cloud moves away,
Our lives go on but in our heart,
She will STAY!!!

Farewell Mrs. Lee HH...
It was indeed a sad day for all MGSians. The 13th of April 2011 marked the very last day that our beloved principal Mrs. Lee Hock Hin nee Soot Mooy Ching would be spending in MGS Ipoh.
A farewell was held in the Trinity Hall today. It was indeed a tearful event and everyone present did not leave without shedding some tears.
Goodbye, and good luck Mrs. Lee in your new school... We will never forget you nor what you have done to our school... As the BM saying goes, hilang di mata, tetapi di hati tak lupa.

English Drama Competition (District Level)
The District Level English Drama Competition was held today, 9th of April in the Trinity Hall of MGS Ipoh, starting at 8.00 am until around 1.00 pm.
A total of 6 schools including MGS Ipoh, ACS Ipoh, RPS Ipoh, SMK Jati, SMK Tasek Damai and SMK Gunung Rapat took part in the competition.
After a very interesting and intense battle onstage between the schools, the winner was announced to be ACS Ipoh. MGS Ipoh was ranked 1st runner-up behind ACS Ipoh.
The Best Performer Award was given to the character "Khatijah" from SMK Jati.
Although MGS did not emerge as the defending champion for this competition, the drama team have definitely given out their best performance. We have learnt a lot in this journey which would be put to good use next year and hopefully regain our title for the Champions of the English Drama Competitions... National Level!!
